What are the benefits of the VZN series?

VZN combines all of the features of extremely fine filtration, taste and odor reduction, self cleaning, and low cost of ownership into a package that requires less space for installation at a lower initial investment.

What is different about VZN?

The VZN series is smaller in size than other VIZION systems and has a lower initial cost.

Activated Carbon

Very porous structure used as an adsorbent in water conditioning. Commonly used for reducing many types of chemicals, such as chlorine, and removing organic compounds from water.

Hydrogen Sulfide

(H2S) A toxic, colorless gas produced naturally during decomposition of organic material that contains sulfur. It has an odor similar to rotten eggs and can be corrosive.

Biofilm

Bacteria that has grown and reproduced within a filter canister to form a slime film over the filter media. This film can clog the pores of the carbon and reduce its ability to filter.

Nephlometric Turbidity Unit (NTU)

A unit of measure determined by the amount of scattering and absorption of light rays caused by the turbidity of water.

Edit TAP Controller Software

This software allows for data access via USB or RS232 connection. It allows for fast, easy data download from TAP to a PC.

The data may then be easily displayed in a spread-sheet or saved as a file for later analysis.
