Breaking Ground on an Exciting Expansion

In October, Antunes broke ground on an expansion of our manufacturing facility that will add approximately 55,000 square feet to our headquarters in Carol Stream, Illinois.

The additional space will accommodate several advancements to our operation, including doubling the size of the engineering lab and sheet metal fabrication area, as well as constructing a state-of-the-art water treatment lab.

“This expansion not only allows us to reconfigure our manufacturing layout to increase capacity,” said Antunes CEO Glenn Bullock, “but also gives us more resources to expand our product lines in order to provide solutions to our existing and potential customers.”

The manufacturing expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

Helping Customers Determine Their Water Quality

Water is a critical component of today’s commercial kitchens — impacting everything from equipment performance to the taste of food and beverages. Because of its importance, operators should know the quality of their water.

There are four key drivers in operators’ decisions to enhance and maintain a high level of water quality: equipment protection, water taste and odor, aesthetics, and health and safety.

If you are concerned about your facility’s water quality and want to assess your situation, Antunes can take an untreated water sample, run it through our lab to determine the chemical makeup and make recommendations on how to address any challenges.

Read more about the key drivers associated with determining and improving water quality and see how Antunes’ water filtration solutions met the needs of a large convenience store chain in this case study.

Intelligent Toaster Allows Operators to do More with Less

Today’s restaurant operators are constantly adapting to new customer demands, changing schedules and expanding menus.

With specialty sandwiches being added — and made-to-order items being offered throughout the day and night — operators need a consistent, around-the-clock toasting solution for a variety of different products.

Many toasters on the market today offer inconsistent results from one bread type to another, but Antunes’ radiant toaster technology can give customers much-needed flexibility, from toasting different products on a single setting to automatically recalibrating to allow for different product volume.

Join Antunes at NAFEM

At The NAFEM Show in February, Antunes will be introducing a brand new booth complete with interactive tools. These tools will allow attendees to virtually explore Antunes’ products, as we encourage our customers to tell us what they need, rather than choose from a pre-existing inventory, like other manufacturers.

If you would like to set up a meeting time at the booth, please click here to reserve your appointment time.

We look forward to seeing you at Booth #1868.
