In 1962, the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) created a new safety standard for industrial ovens that required them to have air and gas pressure sensors. August Antunes, the founder of our company, saw this as an opportunity and created a simple and affordable switch. This switch was such a success that A.J. Antunes & Co. started a new manufacturing division.
